Rental instrument accessories: 

• Please note that 1 quarter inch instrument cable will be included for each keyboard or guitar instrument.
• Any active or acoustic electric guitar will come with a new 9V battery in the case.
• Power adaptors will be provided for each that requires it (i.e keyboards and/or any pedals).
• Keyboards will also be accompanied by a sustain pedal.
• Each instrument will be given to the Renter with the appropriate carrying case.
• ALL CABLES, CASES, AND POWER ADAPTORS MUST be returned with the instrument once the 48 hour rental period is complete.  If not these items will be considered lost or stolen and the Renter agrees to be the primary suspect of any Police or insurance claim investigation (see Lost or stolen section).

Condition of equipment: 

• Instruments are tested, inspected, cleaned and disinfected and wiped down after each rental use.
• Guitar strings are changed every 120 days.
• Drum heads are changed and retuned every 120 days.
• Both the guitar and bass guitar will be provided with brand new set of strings in the carrying case one should be damaged by renter.
• All Active instruments will be provided with a brand new spare 9V battery in the case in case a battery is low or a replacement is needed by renter.

Payment: 

• In order to complete reservation of instruments for a specific date there will be a NON-REFUNDABLE reservation deposit of 10% paid by the Loaner for the rental period which is  $55 CAD.
• Once the rental request from has been submitted the renter will be contact within 48 hours for confirmation and deposit payment of $55.
  
  • An invoice will be sent to the renter via email provided in the contact information section of rental form.
• The remaining payment is due before the rental period no later than the morning of instrument pickup date before 12:00 PM Eastern time.
  
  • If the remaining balance payment is not received by 12:00 PM on the pick up date renter automatically agrees to cancel rental and will NOT be refunded the initial 10% reservation deposit for the rental period ($55).
• The Renter will have access to instrument package for a period of 48 hours for the flat rate of $550 + $50 refundable security deposit mentioned above.
• Instruments will be picked up and dropped off at specified location given to the Renter upon confirmation of rental.
• An additional $25 CAD dollars will be billed to the renter for each day the Renter is late on instrument return which will be deducted from the $50 security deposit.
  
  • A grace period of 12 hours will be permitted after the 48 hour rental period for the return of the instruments at location specified by the Loaner, Tim Audio Productions.
  • Immediately after this grace period has passed this will count as a day and the renter will be charged an additional $25 CAD and automatically be deducted from the $50 Security deposit.
• A visual inspection will be performed by immediately before and after rental period.
• The Renter will have to pay a 50$ repair cost if any physical damages are found during the visual inspection performed upon return of instruments.
• All payments will be made via E-transfer to the following email (this includes the initial %10 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, rental cost, and security deposit):  jotim@tapppmusic.com

Security Deposit:

• A $50 security deposit will added to the rental period price which will be applied to the rental charge. This security deposit will be refunded in full ($50) if the following conditions are met:

1. 1. Instruments are returned on time.
   2. All instruments accessories during rental period are returned on time with the exception of 9V batteries (see Rental instrument accessories Included).
   3. The instruments are not lost or stolen.
   4. There is no irreparable damage done to any of the instruments loaned to renter during 48 hour rental period.

Rental Period:

• Each package has a maximum rental period of 48 hours starting on Saturday at 8:00 AM  to Monday 8:00 AM.
• The pick day and time will be the preceding Friday between the hours of 8:00 and 9:00 PM.
• There is a grace period of 12 hours given to the renter on Monday in order to return all rented equipment by 8:00 PM.
• If the renter does not return all rented instruments and equipment in the respective time including the grace period then an amount $25 CAD will be charged to the renter and automatically deducted from $50 Security Deposit (see Payments section).

Cancellation:

• Renter will be able to cancel no later than 72 hours period. This means that a rental period starts Saturday morning at 8:00 AM so you must cancel no later than the Wednesday by 8:00 AM preceding the start of the rental period. If this is respected a refund will issued to the renter minus the NON-REFUNDABLE 10% deposit ($55).
• The NON-REFUNDABLE %10 is in place because once the renter confirms a rental package, that package is not available to others to be used  as they will be booked in our system.
• The rental agreement will be terminated  if full payment for rental period is not paid in time and once again the 10% deposit of $55 WILL NOT be refunded to the Renter.

Lost or stolen:

• The Loaner, Tim Audio Productions, will replace an instrument in the event of loss or theft pending the filing if a police report.
• During rental period of instruments are lost or stolen the Renters name and ID will be mentioned in a filed police report and insurance claim for any necessary investigation.
• If a police or insurance investigation is required, the Loaner, Tim Audio Productions, reserves the right to contact Renter via contact information provided by Renter in the rental form (in case more information is requested by investigators).
• If Renter refuses to respond to any contact attempts or cooperate the Loaner reserves the right to name Renter as primary suspect of lost or stolen investigation.

Privacy and data:

• The information in the rental form is meant to properly identify the renter, confirm Renters’ contact information in case Renter needs to be reached for further clarification of rental request. Also, the contact information requested by Loaner is important in case an instrument or equipment is reported LOST or STOLEN.
• All the information required in the rental request form is needed and by filling out the rental request you are consenting to the Loaner viewing and collecting the provided information.
• The information you fill out in the rental form WILL NOT sold to any third party companies.
• The information you fill out in the rental form WILL ONLY be shared to law enforcement or the loaners insurance company IF there is a LOST or STOLEN instrument report that needs to be filed.
• The rental form WILL NOT include any request for password information.
• Your email will not be used for any promotional material without your consent.
• The information provided by the Renter in the rental request form will be deleted 30 days business days after 48 hour rental period is complete and all instruments and equipment are returned (unless Renter opts-in to receive email notifications concerning rental promotions, in which case only name and email information is kept until renter opts-out).
• Information provided by Renter is only accessed by the Loaner. However, in case of any data breaches you will be notified immediately. The Loaner is not liable for any breachers,  misunderstandings, or failure to read rental agreement terms in full.
